Gelish is new technology that is being used for gel adhesion. Gelish has been designed to create a a good strong bond between the Structure Gel or the GELISH COLORS to the actual  natural nail plate. With Gelish there is no need to use a primer coat, saving both time and money

Gelish Question:
Do you use a Top Coat with Gelish?
ANSWER: With the Gelish system Gelish Top it Off is used. It is a top coat that is easily soaked off for removal. The Gelish top coat is used to seal the nails and is cured under UV or LED Lights . The Gelish top coat gives the gelish colors  polish a long lasting high shine.



Gelish Question:   How long does Gelish last?
ANSWER: Gelish nails is extremely durable and can provide up to 3 weeks of coverage on your nails. Also nails painted Gelish do not look thick and un-natural on your nails. Gelish maintains its high-shine gloss and doesn’t scratch during wear.


Gelish Question:  Can I paint over Gelish?
ANSWER:  One of the best things about Gelish nails is that it is very versatile and you can use normal nail varnish on top of your Gelish nails. Then remove the nail polish with non-acetone nail polish remover, your Gelish nail polish will stay intact proving just how durable the polish is.




Gelish Question:  How do you remove Gelish?
ANSWER: Gelish will soak off in 10 – 15 minutes. To do this you should lightly file over the top of the surface with a 180 grit file, then  apply GELISH SOAK OFF GEL REMOVER. The nails are then wrapped with foil and allowed to soak for 10 – 15 minutes. After which the foil is removed and just rub off the Gelish, it's as easy as that..


Gelish Question:  Can Gelish damage the natural nail?
ANSWER: The Gelish system only uses  a pH balancing agent that stabilizes the moisture level of the nail. The Gelish Foundation coat acts as an adhesive attaching to that attract to the keratin in the natural nail. This process does not causing any damage but acts like a 2 sided tape to adhere the structure of the Gelish Gel polish to the nail.


Gelish Question: Can Gelish Gel Polish be with traditional acrylic or gel?
ANSWER:  Gelish gel polish can be applied over traditional gel or acrylic as long as it is being applied to a rough surface filed with a 100 grit Harmony buffer or a 180 grit file. REMEMBER, you cannot soak this off acrylic without removing the nail itself.
